"Refund was easy, but it took too long"
I returned my item and the refund did come through after a few days, so that part was fine. It was easy overall, but it felt a bit slow. I kept checking and checking because I wasn’t sure when it would show up. It did get sorted in the end, but the waiting was annoying.

I’ve used Hobbycraft a few times now and I’ve generally been really happy with it. The range seems good, especially for things I can’t always find in local shops. Most of the time what I need is in stock, even if I’m looking for something a bit last minute. The site is easy enough to look through and I haven’t had any problems so far, so yeah, I’d say it’s definitely worth 5 stars

"A bit hit and miss"
I ordered a few craft supplies from Hobbycraft and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The paints were perfectly fine and worked well enough, but the pack of card had a few bent corners, which was annoying when I’d paid decent money for it.
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I did come away feeling a bit like a ticket number rather than a customer. I’d probably still buy basic bits from them again, but next time I might go into the store so I can check things over first.

"Decent prices, but I felt a bit misled"
I’ve ordered from Hobbycraft a few times because the prices usually look good, especially for small craft bits and add-ons. A lot of the little items are cheap enough to throw in with an order, and some of the sale stuff genuinely seems worth it.
That said, I did come away feeling a bit misled on my last order, because the deal looked better at first glance than it actually ended up being once everything was added together. Delivery was fine and I’ll probably still use them, but I’ll be checking the details more carefully next time.

I ordered a few craft bits and the delivery take way longer than I thought it would. The tracking didn’t really update much either, so I wasn’t sure when it was actually going to turn up.

"Customer service just made more work for me"
Dealing with Hobbycraft support was really frustrating. I had an issue with my order and instead of getting a clear answer, I felt like I was just being passed from one person to another. The replies took ages and didn’t really address what I’d actually said, so I ended up having to repeat myself and do all the chasing. It turned a simple order problem into extra hassle I didn’t need. I definitely won’t be rushing back
